More than 300 people detained on suspicion of links to IS in Turkey

Turkish authorities have detained 304 people suspected of links to the Islamic State (IS), Turkish Interior Minister Ali Erlikaya stated.

“During the operation called Heroes-34 against the Islamic State, 304 people were arrested in 32 provinces,” Western media quoted the minister as saying. "We will continue the fight thanks to the active efforts of our security forces,” Erlikai added. Most of the arrests were made in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.
