Soldier and three terrorists killed in northwestern Pakistan

A soldier and three terrorists were killed in two separate counter-terrorism operations and attacks on security forces in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The Pakistan Armed Forces disclosed this information on Tuesday.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that one of the operations was carried out in Dera Ismail Khan, where security forces launched an intelligence operation, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.

Another terrorist was killed in a separate operation in South Waziristan Agency, ISPR stated.

“Arms and ammunition were also recovered from all three slain terrorists who were actively involved in numerous terrorist attacks against security forces and civilians,” the ISPR statement indicated.

In another incident, an improvised explosive device detonated in North Waziristan Agency, killing one soldier, the statement said.
