A US military base in western Iraq comes under mortar fire

The attack targeted the American base of Ain al-Assad in Anbar province, located in western Iraq. This was reported by the Shafaq News portal, citing a source in the security forces.

According to the news portal, the base came under mortar fire. At least two mines fell on the base. Information about the damage caused, as well as about the attackers, has not yet been disclosed.
