A case of propaganda of terrorism opened against a foreigner in Vladimir
The investigative department of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Vladimir Region launched a criminal case for propaganda of terrorism against a citizen of one of the Central Asian republics.
The FSB indicated that previously the defendant, born in 2001, was accused of supporting terrorist activities (Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and arrested. In particular, it turned out that he contacted a member of a foreign terrorist organization taking part in terrorist activities in the Syrian Arab Republic, over the Internet, and transferred money to him in order to purchase firearms for Islamic State militants.
