Philadelphia teen arrested, charged in FBI terrorism investigation

FBI detained a 17-year-old teenager in the state of Philadelphia, accused of planning a terrorist attack in the United States, as reported by the local prosecutor's office.

He is currently charged with the following offenses: weapons of mass destruction, criminal conspiracy, arson, and causing or risking catastrophe. According to prosecutors, the teenager was in contact via social networks with a terrorist group associated with al-Qaeda. The FBI continues investigation.
