Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed a protocol on cooperation in the field of security

As a result of the second round of consultations held in Tashkent between the Secretariat of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan and the Office of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, the parties signed a protocol setting out additional bilateral measures aimed at enhancing cooperation in the field of security, exchange of intelligence and conducting training events and exercises.

The first round of consultations took place in May 2019 in Bishkek.
