Meeting of the Director of the SCO RATS Executive Committee with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan

On August 26, 2026, the SCO RATS Executive Committee hosted a meeting between the Director of the Executive Committee, Ularbek Sharsheev, and His Excellency Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Director of the SCO Executive Committee Ularbek Sharsheev, congratulated Mr. Muhammad Mudassir Tipu on his appointment to a highly responsible position and wished him success in his assignment. Continuing the conversation, he highlighted the active participation of representatives of the competent authorities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the ongoing events in the SCO RATS format, including preparations for the next meeting of the SCO RATS Council in Islamabad. He informed about the main tasks and activities of the Executive Committee, as well as the ongoing work to implement the decision of the Council of Heads of SCO member States on the establishment of a Universal Center, transforming SCO RATS to counter challenges and threats to the security of the SCO.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of international and regional security. The dignitaries noted the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to ensure the effective operation of the organization.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
